Ageing : afraid or assured?

Search-box says ageing is the process of getting older through years and experience! But,what we don’t know is how we will feel and look like growing with our kids(I would not mention about grandchildren because a part of me still thinks that its unlikely that the present keyboard-pressing generation will be alive for too long without medications :/ ).You see, technology has made us more weak and lazy than the last generation;though the boon of decreased life-span is a gift of our own westernization!

For the last few months,I am overthinking on ‘ageing'(I have no idea how to clarify) and have been consistently analyzing profiles of people especially celebrities to find out if an above 40 woman and man would look equally aged :/ .Honestly, there is a belief among Indian parents that a 28 years old girl is an aunt though a guy of the same age is young-full of energy-doesn’t even care about taking parental responsibilities-(moreover)is full of ‘jawani’(dad adds this one)! But what actually haunts women above 35 is:whether they look that pretty as a 25 year old and the next recent fear is,will their hubby/boyfriend leave them since they are young enough to find fresh chicks?

ageing

So,women lose confidence due to ageing!

Well, firstly whoever will be with me at that age will be obviously a real lover;else there are high chances of my leaving him much before.Secondly,an above 35 year old woman can also look much younger if she takes care of herself regularly and not get too involved in neglecting herself for family issues(see, this is predominant in West Bengal where mums even stand in queue to pay college fees of 18+ ‘kids’) 😛 ;okay, jokes apart…..but frankly speaking, ageing doesn’t affect ‘full-of-energy’ or ‘staying-young’ issues 🙂 But yes,I must mention that sometimes an ovulating/menstruating woman has lesser energy compared to them who already had menopause 😀 exciting huhh?

I have a list about what I have seen my favorite men/women around trying,so as to keep themselves young and energetic even at Indian-logically not so-young age::

1.Keep your skin healthy & hydrated by
                                                  a.drinking a lot of water.
b.using a face-pack of apple and banana crushed together.
c.washing the face properly>3 times daily.
d.message your face occasionally (to get rid of stressed look).
2.Exercise daily (for 30-40 minutes) say : a.Yoga at home(with a trainer).
                                                                                  b.Joining a gym.
                                                                                  c.Walking. 🙂
                                                                                  d.Cycling and skipping(alternately).
3.Eat fresh and healthy foodstuff comprising of:
                                           a.Milk or milk products(its important).
b.Nuts . (ahem ahem 😛 ,I am sure many like cashew nut as I do)
                                           c.Green leafy vegetables including lemon.
d.Fruits(avoid mangoes and bananas for diabetes).
e.Proteins like cooked chicken and fish are preferable.
Cut down on white rice and junk food;brown rice/brown bread are comparatively better.
4.Use hair-pack of lemon extract, curd and egg to keep it healthy, bright, young and soft.
5.Involve yourself in work, whether it’s social or personal or cultural,an idle brain is a devil’s workshop. But remember, not to stress yourself.
6.Sleep adequate with lights off(this is beneficial).
